This article explains how to enable call recording in Salesgear.

Why do you need to record calls?

By recording conversations of your contacts, you can -

  • Learn actionable insights from conversations that could be used for your own growth and for team-wide training and coaching.

  • Improve the buyer's journey and customer experience by giving yourself insights into how you can tailor communication and interactions to specific contacts based on relevant context.

Shortly, every sales call has a wealth of information that can help in solving your contact’s requirements and guide you in closing a deal.

How to enable call recording?

  1. Go to ‘settings’ by clicking the gear-shaped icon in the vertical side menu bar.

  2. On the settings page, locate ‘account settings’ on the left side.

  3. Click on ‘dialer’ under account settings.

  4. You will find an option - “Automatically record outgoing calls”.

  5. Enable it to record all your and your teammates’ outbound calls automatically.

Notes:

  • Only admins have access to enable the record calls option.

  • Team members will be able to record and save their conversations only when admins enable this option.

  • Once this option is enabled, all your outbound calls will be recorded automatically.

  • $0.014/min for the US calls and $0.03/min for the rest of the world will be reduced for every call made from Salesgear.

  • $0.0025 will be reduced from your credits for every minute of a recorded call.

  • This feature is available only for Pro plan users.
