Reassign Contacts When an Inbox Is Disconnected

If an inbox used in a sequence is disconnected or revoked, Salesgear protects your sequence flow by pausing contacts. You can optionally allow automatic reassignment to active inboxes.


How to enable automatic reassignment

  1. Open Sequences.

  2. Select the sequence.

  3. Go to Settings.

  4. Enable
    โ€‹Automatically reassign contacts to available inboxes if the assigned inbox is disconnected

  5. Click Save changes.


How reassignment works (logic)

Salesgear waits 15 minutes after an inbox disconnects.

  • If the inbox reconnects โ†’ contacts continue as normal

  • If not โ†’ contacts are reassigned only if the option is enabled

  • If disabled โ†’ contacts remain paused

This prevents accidental reassignment due to temporary disconnects.
