What Happens When a Paused Sequence with Multiple Inboxes Is Resumed?

When you resume a paused sequence, Salesgear checks whether the inbox assigned to each contact is still available.


Case 1: Assigned inbox is still enabled in the sequence

  • The contact resumes successfully

  • All scheduled emails continue as planned


Case 2: Assigned inbox is no longer available

  • The contact remains paused

  • No emails are sent

  • You must either:

    • Reconnect the original inbox, or

    • Enable another inbox and reassign the contact

This prevents emails from being sent from an unintended sender.
