Your API key lets other tools act on your Salesgear account as you. You use it to connect Zapier and AI assistants (such as Claude or ChatGPT) to Salesgear. Every user has their own key.
đ Find your API key
Find the API Key field. Click the eye icon to show it, or the copy icon to copy it.
The same key also appears on the Zapier card under More â Settings â Integrations â CRM.
đ Use it
Zapier: enter your Salesgear login email and the key when you add the Salesgear connection in Zapier.
AI assistants: when you add the Salesgear connector, paste the key on the Salesgear sign-in page it opens.
đ Keep your key private. Anyone with it can act as you. Contact support if you think it leaked.
đ If a tool rejects a valid key, API access may be off for your team. Full API documentation is available on request. Email support@salesgear.io for either.
