Understanding Credits in Salesgear

Credits in Salesgear power key actions like unlocking contact data and running AI features. This guide explains where credits are used, how they’re deducted, and how to keep track of your usage.

👉 Where Credits Are Used

Credits are consumed when you access or enhance contact information inside Salesgear.

1. Purchasing Contact Information (List Builder)

When you unlock contact details from the List Builder section:

  • 1 email address → 1 credit

  • 1 phone number → 10 credits

This allows you to selectively access verified contact data based on your needs.

📌 Unlike other lead-gen tools that return an email from a stale database, Salesgear verifies each email in real time when you request it, so you only ever get an email that was confirmed valid moments ago. This can take a little longer than an instant lookup, but it's why Salesgear email addresses have some of the highest accuracy in the industry.

2. Enriching Contact Details

If your existing contacts are missing key information (like email or phone), you can enrich them directly inside Salesgear.

How it works:

  • Go to Contacts

  • Select the contacts

  • Click Enrich Emails or Enrich Phone Numbers

Credits used:

  • 1 email enrichment → 1 credit

  • 1 phone enrichment → 10 credits

This helps you upgrade incomplete data into outreach-ready contacts.

3. Deep Research (LinkedIn AI)

Salesgear’s Deep Research feature gives you a complete AI-generated profile of a prospect from LinkedIn.

  • 1 Deep Research → 20 credits

This includes insights like:

  • Professional background

  • Company context

  • Key highlights for personalization

Use this when you want deeper context before reaching out.
