Connect Salesgear to ChatGPT so you can find prospects, verify emails and phone numbers, build lists and run sequences right from a ChatGPT chat. Everything runs as you, inside your own Salesgear account.
Before you start
You need a Salesgear paid plan with MCP enabled. Not sure if MCP is on for your account? Email support@salesgear.io.
A ChatGPT plan that supports apps and connectors.
Step 1: Copy your Salesgear API key
Open Settings > Profile in Salesgear.
Find API Key and click the Copy button.
Keep this key private. Anyone with it can act in your Salesgear account.
Step 2: Add Salesgear in ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, open Settings > Apps & Connectors > Advanced and turn on Developer mode.
Go back to Apps & Connectors and click Create.
Enter these details:
Name: Salesgear
Authentication: OAuth
Click Create. The Salesgear sign-in page opens.
Paste your API key and click Authorize.
Step 3: Try it
Start a new chat, click +, choose Salesgear, and ask, for example:
Find VPs of Sales at US SaaS companies with 50 to 500 employees.
Create a contact list called Q4 Outbound.
Give me the firmographics for stripe.com.
Good to know
Searching for people and companies is free. Revealing emails or phone numbers uses your Salesgear credits.
ChatGPT asks you before anything that changes data, spends credits or contacts people.
To disconnect, go to Settings > Apps & Connectors in ChatGPT and remove Salesgear.
