Tracking a signal tells Salesgear what to watch (for example job changes) and who to watch (all your contacts or one list). Each move it finds lands in your Live feed.
đ Signals marked Coming soon can't be tracked yet.
đ What it costs
Signals on your own activity (replies, opens, clicks, accepted connections) are free and checked as it happens.
Job changes and Champion moves: 1 credit per contact, each check.
Headcount growth, Headcount decline and New leader: 1 credit per company, each check.
Hiring intel: 2 credits per company, each check.
The form shows the cost Each check and Per month before you save. If it's more than your credit balance, it tells you when checks would stop. Someone already checked by another of your signals adds no credits.
đ Track a signal
Go to Signals and click Track a signal (or open the Signal templates tab).
Search or filter the list, click How it works to read about a signal, then click Track.
Under Who to watch, choose all your contacts or accounts, or one list. For Champion moves, pick the list that holds your past customers.
Under How often, choose Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Custom. More often hears sooner, at more credits.
Set the Monthly credit cap. Checks pause when it's reached.
Optional: open More options to set limits (At least / At most), Create a task for each move, or set quiet days so the same record doesn't alert twice.
Optional: tick Let an agent handle each one. See Automate a Signal.
Click Start tracking. The first check runs now.
đ Pause, edit or stop a signal
Go to Signals â My signals. Each row shows New moves, its Agent, and Credits used.
Pause: stops checking and uses no credits until you click Resume.
Edit: change who it watches, how often or the cap, then click Save changes.
Stop, then Stop tracking: past moves stay in your feed.
đ If a signal says "Paused at its credit cap", it reached its monthly cap. Raise the cap with Edit, or watch a smaller list. If an agent uses the signal, the pause or stop confirmation tells you which one; it has nothing new to act on until the signal runs again.
