Set Up Your Seller Profile for Deep Research

Written by Premsanth Rajamani

Deep Research needs to know what you're selling, not just who the prospect is. Your Seller Profile stores that — your product, your ideal buyer, and how you sell — so AI-generated outreach sounds like you.

👉 Where to find it

  1. Go to Settings → Seller Profiles.

  2. Click Create to add a new profile. You can save more than one — useful if you sell multiple products or work different segments.

👉 Two ways to create a profile

  • Start from a URL: paste your company or product website. Salesgear drafts a profile for you to review and edit.

  • Start from scratch: fill in the form yourself.

👉 What a profile includes

  • Your name, title, company, and product name

  • Product summary, what it does, and your main value proposition

  • Key use cases, current customers, and competitive edge

  • Outreach goal, messaging tone, and sales motion style

  • Optional: signals to watch for, and audience warmth (cold, nurtured, or mixed)

Click Download as PDF on any profile to share it internally.

👉 Using it in Deep Research

When you add a Deep Research step to a sequence, pick a Seller Profile and an outreach goal. Salesgear uses both, plus what it learns about the prospect, to write personalized outreach.

📌 A more complete Seller Profile gives you more specific, relevant Deep Research output.
