As a salesperson, it is crucial to keep your contacts moving through the different stages of your sales lifecycle.
These stages of a sales lifecycle can definitely vary depending on your business or the process that your sales team follows. This is where creating customized contact stages can help.
Here’s how you create a customized contact stage -
Navigate to Settings → Contact settings → contact stages. You will find the default contact stages available.
Click ‘Create new stage’.
Enter a stage name.
Click ‘Create stage’.
The new stage will appear in the list and now you can update this stage for any contacts.
You can perform actions like rename and delete for every customized stage you create.
Once you delete a particular stage, the contacts available in the specific stage will be moved to ‘No stage’.
Navigate to the contacts section to update these contacts from ‘No stage’ to any stage you want.
