This article explains how to create email templates in Salesgear.

Why email templates?

Crafting new emails for every contact is practically impossible and time-consuming. Sending precise, personalized, and reusable emails that provide value to the reader is always better than rambling emails that are pretty long, confused, and vague.

Therefore, if you have predefined templates, you can easily personalize them and send them out to any number of contacts you want.

Read ahead to find how to create email templates.

How to create a new template in Salesgear?

  1. Click on the ‘templates’ icon in the vertical side menu bar.

  2. Click on the blue-colored ‘add new’ in the top right corner.

  3. Choose ‘new template’ from the drop-down menu. Alternatively, if you are creating your first template, you can use the ‘new template’ button in the center of the templates section.

  4. Enter a template name and template subject. Type personalized content based on your requirements; you can use ‘insert variables’ in the bottom right of the email body to employ customizations.

  5. You will be able to preview the template on the right side as you type the content.

  6. Click ‘save template’.

  7. You can view all your saved templates in the ‘my templates’ section. Check this article to learn how to use these templates in your sequence.

Note: Newly created templates are set to ‘private’ by default. If you want to share templates with your team, you should edit template privileges. Check out this article to learn more.
