If you want Salesgear to adjust your DNS settings or help configure your domain, you can grant us access by adding our team as a Domain Manager in Squarespace.
Follow these quick steps:
Step-by-Step: Give Salesgear Domain Access
Go to the Domains Dashboard.
Click the domain you want Salesgear to manage.
Select Permissions.
Click Invite domain manager.
Enter:
Name: Salesgear
Email: partners@salesgear.io
Click Send Invite.
Salesgear will receive an email asking us to accept the invitation. Once accepted, we can safely adjust your domain’s DNS settings.
If you don’t see “Invite domain manager”
Some domains in Squarespace use the website’s permission settings, not domain-specific permissions.
If the Invite domain manager button is missing:
→ Add Salesgear as a Site Administrator instead.
Go to Website → Settings → Permissions → Invite Contributor → Administrator.
This gives us the required access to edit your domain settings.
What Salesgear Will Do
Once added, we can:
Update DNS records (A, CNAME, TXT, MX)
Configure tracking settings
Resolve domain connection issues
Help validate email/domain security settings
Granting access in Squarespace does not give Salesgear control of your domain.
You stay 100% in control. We only adjust technical DNS settings you’ve asked us to handle.
Removing Access Later
You can remove Salesgear anytime:
Domains → Select Domain → Permissions → Remove Contributor
