Customizable Call Dispositions on Salesgear for accurate logging of cold calls

Call disposition is a label you use to describe the call Outcome. It is the summary of the particular outcome of a call. Disposition is the value that you could use to log the result of the calls.

The customizable call dispositions are advantageous because they let you record accurate assessments of a call. It also helps you to gain valuable insights from your cold calls and use them to optimize your sales processes.

For example, let’s say you call a prospect and they express interest in your product/service or getting more information from you. In that case, you mark the disposition as Interested. And take it to the next step.

How to Call Dispositions?

  1. Navigate to settings from the top right corner.

  2. Navigate to the Dialer under the ‘Account Settings’.

  3. Go to the ‘Call Disposition’ tab on the top.

  4. Click on “Create New State”.

  5. Give a name to your Disposition.

  6. Bucket the disposition into Answered/Not Answered.

  7. Choose the color you want to give to the disposition.

  8. Click on “Create”

How to Edit Call Dispositions?

  1. Navigate to settings from the top right corner.

  2. Navigate to the Dialer under the ‘Account Settings’.

  3. Go to the ‘Call Disposition’ tab on the top.

  4. Hover over the disposition you want to edit and click on the pencil icon on the right.

  5. Rename the disposition as you like.

  6. Bucket the disposition into Answered/Not Answered.

  7. Choose the color you want to give to the disposition.

  8. Click on “Update”

PS: You cannot edit the first two dispositions - Connected and Not Logged.

Additional Information:

  1. You can choose to keep the dispositions visible/not visible in the calls section by clicking on the eye icon to the right of the dispositions.

  2. Salesgear allows you to color code the dispositions because it is helpful in reading the analytics in the Calls sections.

  3. You can also navigate to the Disposition window by scrolling to the right end of the dispositions on top of the Calls section.

  4. You can create up to 15 dispositions in Salesgear.
