Salesgear lets you create one sequence for all your team members. The advantage of having a shared sequence is that the team members can have one piece of content go out for the prospects. It also means that the newest member of your team can use tried and tested content to reach out.

If the owner of the sequence makes any changes in the content, it will be reflected for every user of the sequence and has total control over the sequence.

How to create a shared sequence?

1. Create a normal sequence and after creation click on the 3 dots in the right corner to edit the sequence.

2. Choose the type of sequence (Private, Shared read-only, and Shared read-write)

  • A Read-only sequence allows view access alone to the team

  • A shared read-write sequence allows team members to edit the content.

3. A pop-up will ask you to confirm if you want to share that particular sequence, you can click on ‘Continue’.

4. A Shared Sequence can be distinguished by the “Shared” icon on the right of the sequence’s name.

Note: If you’re not the team admin, you will have no control over the inbox that will be attached to the sequence.

Advantages of using a Shared Sequence

All your team members can connect their inboxes to one sequence in a Shared Sequence. Admin can add teammates’ inboxes, but a user can add only his/her inboxes. And the contacts you add will only be sent emails only from your inboxes.

Other team members cannot see or modify your inboxes. In case of inbox disconnection, contacts will be reassigned to the available inbox.

With shared sequences, you and your team members can send 1000s of emails in one go.

Let’s go set up your first shared sequence now!
