How to create meeting events in Salesgear?

This article explains how to create meeting events in Salesgear for your public calendar.

  1. Click on ‘create event’ in the top right.

  2. Provide the following information -

    1. Event name - name of the meeting type

    2. Meeting duration

    3. Set reminder before - Salesgear will remind you “x” minutes before the meeting starts.

    4. Timezone

    5. No. of available days for meeting - indicates the range of dates into the future when you can accept meetings.

    6. Video conferencing link - include an external meeting link like Zoom if you are using other platforms for these meetings.

  3. Set your meeting availability for this event -

    1. Working hours - set a specific time to let your prospects book meetings only during this time frame.

    2. Add buffer time before or after your events - include break time between your sessions to prevent contacts from scheduling back-to-back meetings.

    3. Invitees can’t schedule before - specify the minimum amount of time in advance that a contact can book a meeting.

  4. Click ‘Save’.

  5. The event will be created successfully and will be visible on your public calendar for contacts to book more meetings.

Notes:

  • There should be at least one meeting event always available on your calendar for contacts to schedule.

  • You should have your Google/Microsoft inbox connected with Salesgear to integrate the calendar of the respective account.
