Create Meeting Events in Salesgear

Meeting events define how prospects and contacts can book time on your calendar. Each event controls the meeting type, availability, and booking rules shown on your public calendar.


Creating a meeting event

  1. Go to Settings โ†’ Calendar events.

  2. Click Create event in the top-right corner.

  3. Configure the event details:

    • Event name โ€“ the meeting type shown to invitees

    • Meeting duration

    • Reminder before โ€“ receive a reminder before the meeting starts

    • Timezone

    • Number of available days โ€“ how far into the future meetings can be booked

    • Video conferencing link โ€“ add an external link (for example, Zoom)


Set availability and booking rules

Define when and how contacts can book this event:

  • Working hours
    Limit bookings to specific hours in your day.

  • Buffer time before or after meetings
    Add breaks between meetings to avoid back-to-back bookings.

  • Invitees canโ€™t schedule before
    Set a minimum notice period before a meeting can be booked.

Click Save to create the event.

Once saved, the event appears on your public Salesgear calendar and becomes available for booking.


Points to remember

  • At least one meeting event must be active for contacts to book meetings.

  • Your Google or Microsoft inbox must be connected to sync calendar availability.
