You can block specific email domains so that you or your team won’t reach out to any contacts in those domains via any channel, even accidentally.

To block domains -

  1. Navigate to Settings → contact settings → Do not contact domains.

  2. Enter the email domain that you want to block.

  3. Click ‘Add'.

  4. The domain will be added to the list and the contacts with this domain will never receive an email even if it has been already scheduled. Similarly, you will not be able to create new tasks or execute the ones that are already scheduled.

  5. You can also block multiple domains at once by uploading a CSV file.

  6. Upload the CSV file with the list of email domains to be blocked.

  7. Email domains will be added to the list and blocked.

Points to remember -

  • Once you block an email domain, the stage of the contacts in the respective domains will be updated automatically to “Do not contact”.

  • You cannot send emails, create tasks, and make calls for contacts with stage ‘do not contact’.

  • You cannot send/ execute previously scheduled emails and tasks as the contacts’ stage has been updated to ‘Do not contact’.

  • If you’d like to communicate with contacts from a blocked email domain -

    • Go to settings → contact settings → Do not contact domains.

    • Click on the ‘delete’ icon against the email domain that you want to remove from the blocked list.

    • You will receive a confirmation popup - click ‘Confirm’.

    • The domain will be deleted and now you can resume your conversations across all channels with the contacts.
