Intent of the article -
This article explains how to connect a Sendgrid account with Salesgear via SMTP.
Navigate to the ‘Settings’ section → connected inbox.
Click on the ‘Connect inbox’ button available on the top right.
Click on ‘Connect SMTP/IMAP’.
Configure Sender email details -
Enter ‘Sender name’
Enter ‘Sender email address’
Set the User Name to ‘apikey’ as a standard user name
Enter the API key value in the password field
Enter smtp.sendgrid.net in the SMTP host field
Select 465 as your SMTP port
Test your SMTP connection. You will get ‘verified’ if the details you provided are correct.
Similarly, configure your IMAP fields to which you want to receive your replies and test the connection.
Once both are verified, click ‘Save’ to connect your Sendgrid account.
You can now send emails using your Sendgrid account via Salesgear and track your engagement metrics as well.
