This article explains how to remove an ongoing/ paused contact from a sequence while it is active.
You can choose to remove contacts from an active sequence, if there is no longer need for you to send any emails, make calls or perform tasks to the contacts.
Here's how to remove contacts from a sequence -
Navigate to the sequence from which you'd like to remove contacts.
Within the sequence, go to 'contacts'.
Select the contacts that you want to remove.
Click on the ‘more options’ icon (three vertical dots) available on the right corner above the contacts list.
Click 'remove'.
The selected contacts will be removed successfully.
Note: when you remove a contact from a sequence, all your future emails and tasks will be removed for the respective contact.
