This article explains how email validation in Salesgear works.
One of the factors for your cold email outreach to be successful is email validation. It impacts largely on two things - email deliverability and sender’s reputation.
In short,
Sending emails to invalid email addresses = high bounce rate
High bounce rates = Low sender score
Your ISP will then blacklist your domain. Therefore, it’s better to check the email validity of your contacts before sending them emails and Salesgear can help you with this.
Contacts' email addresses are validated based on credits. Every contact added to a sequence will be validated automatically by the email validation service and 1 validation credit will be deducted.
As a user, you can control this feature at sequence-level. Meaning - you can enable this feature only for specific sequences in which you’d like to validate the contacts’ email addresses.
By default, the checkbox - “Validate the email addresses before adding them to the sequence” in sequence → configuration will be enabled. You can disable this if you don’t want to validate emails in a particular sequence.
Pricing -
Cost | Number of emails you get to validate |
$10 | 2,000 |
$25 | 5,000 |
$50 | 10,000 |
$100 | 20,000 |
Here’s how to purchase them:
Navigate to settings → Account settings → Credits usage.
You’ll find email validation credits towards the end of the page with email validation credits remaining 0.
You can track how many credits are being deducted from this section each time you validate an email address.
If you’d like to see a lower number on your bounce rate, please drop us a message on the chat box to get this feature enabled for your account.
