If you use an email provider other than Google or Microsoft, you can still send and receive emails through Salesgear using SMTP and IMAP.

Below is a guided setup using GoDaddy as an example.

Step 1: Configure SMTP (Outgoing mail)

  1. Go to Settings → Connected Accounts

  2. Click Connect Inbox → SMTP / IMAP

  3. Enter sender details:

    • Sender name

    • Email address

    • Username

    • Password

  4. Enter SMTP details:

    • Host: smtpout.secureserver.net

    • Port: 465 (recommended), 587

  5. Click Test

Once verified, IMAP fields auto-populate.

Step 2: Configure IMAP (Incoming mail)

  1. Verify IMAP details:

    • Host: imap.secureserver.net

    • Port: 993 (recommended)

  2. Click Test

  3. Click Save

Your inbox is now connected and ready.
