If you use an email provider other than Google or Microsoft, you can still send and receive emails through Salesgear using SMTP and IMAP.
Below is a guided setup using GoDaddy as an example.
Step 1: Configure SMTP (Outgoing mail)
Go to Settings → Connected Accounts
Click Connect Inbox → SMTP / IMAP
Enter sender details:
Sender name
Email address
Username
Password
Enter SMTP details:
Host:
smtpout.secureserver.netPort: 465 (recommended), 587
Click Test
Once verified, IMAP fields auto-populate.
Step 2: Configure IMAP (Incoming mail)
Verify IMAP details:
Host:
imap.secureserver.netPort: 993 (recommended)
Click Test
Click Save
Your inbox is now connected and ready.
