Intent of the article -

The purpose of this article is to explain how to connect Salesforce with Salesgear.

Salesgear + Salesforce CRM is a 2-way integration with which you can sync data on both the platforms simultaneously. Meaning - you can update data from Salesgear to Salesforce and vice versa without any third party platforms.

Polling

The polling feature automatically imports leads from Salesforce to Salesgear based on specific conditions. Meaning - if the given conditions are satisfied, leads from Salesforce will be imported to Salesgear.

This reduces manual errors, saves you a lot of time, and hence your productivity isn’t ruined. You don’t have to switch between various tools to update data. Instead, you can focus on critical tasks like booking more meetings & closing deals.

Add tags

You can add tags to the imported Salesforce leads to identify them easily.

Update contacts

Enabling this toggle will update the existing contacts in Salesgear automatically whenever there’s a change in Salesforce leads.

Mapping of data between Salesgear & Salesforce

Mapping is finding a match between the fields in Salesforce CRM and Salesgear. Meaning - you can match your lead fields in Salesforce with any of the contact fields in Salesgear. This is how the values between the two systems are synchronized.

Sync Direction

The sync direction allows you to choose the path of Salesgear and Salesforce synchronization. There are three options provided here -

  • Inbound → syncs data only from Salesforce to Salesgear. Any changes to your leads fields in Salesforce will be reflected in Salesgear.

  • Outbound → syncs data only from Salesgear to Salesforce. Any updates in Salesgear contact fields will be reflected in Salesforce.

  • Both directions → sync data simultaneously on both systems.

Owners

This helps in mapping the fields mentioned above. Once you integrate Salesforce and Salesgear, both the account owners should be mapped to sync data.
