Reaching out to the same contact through two sequences
There might be times when you want to nurture a specific contact or a specific set of contacts through different sequences.
Consider two sequences - A & B and a contact X. Contact X is already present in sequence A. You can now add the same contact to sequence B as well using Salesgear’s safety setting.
Every sequence settings will have a checkbox - “Do not add contact, if it was previously added to another sequence”.
When this checkbox is enabled, and you try to add the contact X to sequence B as well, it will not be added.
While if the checkbox is disabled, and you try to add the contact X to sequence B, it will be added.
You can achieve this by using the safety setting available in sequences. Here’s how you can do this -
Go to sequences → click on the required sequence.
Click on ‘settings’ within the sequence.
Scroll down and you will see a checkbox that says - “Do not add contact if it was previously added to another sequence”.
Disable this checkbox if you want to add a contact to this sequence that’s currently available in another sequence as well.
Enable the checkbox if you do not want to add any contacts (that are already present in other sequences) to this sequence.
Click on ‘Save changes’.
