Contact timeline - A history of all contact activities

There is always more than one sales rep engaging with a contact. It can be confusing to determine who contacted the prospect most recently.

This is where the contact timeline helps you get a clear view of specific contact updates made by your rep for a contact. Meaning - now you can see when and what contact fields your teammate or you updated.

These contact updates include -

  1. Emails - sent, opened, link clicked, replied, bounced, and opted out

  2. Calls - calls made by your sales rep to the contact and conversations logged

  3. Tasks - updates on skipped tasks and completed tasks

  4. Notes - notes created and updated

  5. Sequence updates like contact added to a sequence, marked as complete, paused/resumed in a sequence, skipped to next stage in a sequence.

Here's how to view the contact timeline for particular contact -

  1. Go to contacts section.

  2. Click on the contact for which you want to view all the activities performed.

  3. The contact side panel will pop in from the right side of your screen.

  4. Click on "view activity" available below the action icons.

  5. This will take you to a new page with the list of activities (with date & time) that you & your teammates performed for this contact.

Note - Complete list of the contact timeline can be viewed in pro plan. While with the freemium plan, you can only view limited number of activities for each contact.
