This article explains how to search for contacts in Salesgear.

<b>Searching for contacts with information you know</b>

Finding a bunch of contacts with any piece of information you remember is no longer a pain. This piece of information can be any of the contact fields, such as -

- First Name
- Last Name
- Company
- Email
- Title
- Phone number
- Street
- City
- State 
- Country
- Custom fields that you’ve created

This makes it a lot easier for you to find the exact contacts &amp; their information much faster.

<b>How to use the search functionality?</b>

Click on the ‘contacts’ icon on the vertical side menu bar.

You will find the search bar above your list of contacts. Click into the search bar to place your cursor.

Type out the value of any field you want. For example, if you want to get the list of contacts that belong to the company 'Salesgear', then type 'Salesgear' in the search bar.

You will get the desired results.
