Intent of the article -
This article explains how to view a contact’s details & perform specific actions for the contact.
Contact side panel lets you view the details of a particular contact in Salesgear. Here’s how you do it -
Click on the ‘contacts’ icon on the vertical side menu bar.
Click on the contact name whose details you want to view.
A panel will slide in from the right side of your screen. This is called the ‘contact side panel’.
In this panel, you can view the following details of the contact -
Contact first name
Job title
Company
LinkedIn profile URL
Website URL
First contacted - mentions the date on which you made the first contact with this person.
Last contacted - mentions the date on which you made your latest contact with this person.
Email
Phone
Owner of the contact
Status
Tasks - number of tasks completed & due
Sequences - the sequences in which the contact is currently active.
Email insights - number of emails sent, opened, clicked, and replied
Tags
You can also perform the following actions for the contact from the side panel, such as -
Add to sequence
Click on the “add to sequence” icon.
You will notice a pop-up window showing the currently available sequences. Click on the radio button against the sequence to which you want to add the contacts and click ‘next’.
The next screen of the pop-up will show you the stages of the selected sequence. You can click on the stages to have a preview of them on the right.
Once you are ready, click ‘start sequence’. You’ve added the contact to the sequence successfully.
Create a task
Click on the ‘create task’ icon.
Choose a task from the popup that appears.
Enter task notes.
Click on ‘create task’.
This will create a new task in the task section.
Make a call
Click on the ‘make a call’ icon.
The dialer will pop in from the bottom.
You will be able to view the contact’s mobile or phone number on the dialer if it is already available. Otherwise, you need to enter the number.
Press the green button to make the call.
