Pausing a sequence can be useful when your contacts are unavailable—for example, during holidays or extended out-of-office periods.
Instead of sending emails that won’t be read, you can pause the sequence and resume it when your contacts are back.
You can pause or resume a sequence from two places:
👉 From the ‘Sequences’ Section
Go to Sequences.
Find the sequence you want to pause or resume.
Use the toggle button next to the sequence name to pause or resume it.
👉 From Within a Sequence
Go to Sequences.
Select the sequence you want to pause.
Use the toggle button at the top-left of the horizontal menu (above the list of steps) to pause or resume it.
📌 Note: A paused sequence will not send any scheduled emails until resumed.
