Intent of the article:

In this article, you will learn the advantages of using the native integration of Salesgear + Zoho.

What can you achieve by integrating Zoho CRM and Salesgear?

Salesgear + Zoho CRM is a 2-way integration with which you can sync data on both the platforms simultaneously. Meaning - you can update data from Salesgear to Zoho CRM and vice versa without any third party platforms.

Polling

The polling feature automatically imports leads and contacts of a list view from Zoho CRM to Salesgear based on the specified timeline.

This means that whenever there is a lead/ contact added to the list view in Zoho, it will be automatically imported into Salesgear.

This saves you a lot of time, your productivity isn’t ruined, and reduces manual errors. Instead of manually updating two different systems, you can continue to focus on other significant tasks like closing deals.

Update contacts

You can also update the existing contacts in Salesgear automatically if there’s a change in Zoho CRM.

Mapping of data between Salesgear & Zoho CRM

Mapping is finding a match between the fields in Zoho CRM and Salesgear. Meaning - you can match your fields in Zoho CRM with any of the fields in Salesgear. This is how the values between the two systems are synchronized.

Sync Direction -

The sync direction allows you to choose the path of Salesgear and Zoho synchronization. There are three options provided here -

  1. Inbound → syncs data only from Zoho CRM to Salesgear. Any changes to your leads/ contacts fields in Zoho will be reflected in Salesgear.

  2. Outbound → syncs data only from Salesgear to Zoho CRM. Any updates in Salesgear contact fields will be reflected in Zoho CRM.

  3. Both directions → sync data simultaneously on both systems.

Note: Since the fields “last name” and “company” are mandatory in Zoho CRM, you cannot change the sync direction for these fields. They are set to ‘both directions’ by default.

Owners -

This helps in mapping the fields mentioned above. Once you integrate Zoho and Salesgear, both the account owners will be mapped to sync data.
