This article explains what triggers are and how they work.
What are triggers in Salesgear?
Triggers are the events that cause automatic changes within Salesgear when specific conditions are met. In Salesgear, the users can configure automated actions for their contacts within the platform using triggers.
There are two mandatory elements to create a trigger in Salesgear -
The event that causes the trigger to fire. For example, you may want to fire a trigger when an email is delivered to a contact.
Action - the change that is about to happen when the trigger fires. For example, when a contact clicks a link in an email, you may complete the sequence for that contact.
To ensure that the trigger is only fired when certain requirements are satisfied, you can add conditions, such as a contact with a specific email address, a certain number of email opens, link clicks, replies, and so on.
