Intent:
The purpose of this article is to explain how to configure custom fields in Salesgear.
Configuring custom fields:
Including custom fields in your emails make them highly personalized and hence you get a higher open rate, replies, and clicks.
By default, Salesgear recognizes the basic custom variables like the first name, last name, company, title, industry, city, state, country, phone number, and mobile number. Additionally, you can add your custom fields as well.
Here’s how you can add them:
Go to ‘settings’ by clicking the gear-shaped icon in the vertical side menu bar.
On the settings page, locate ‘account settings’ on the left side.
Click on ‘custom fields’ under account settings.
Enter the custom label value in the text fields.
Click ‘save changes’.
Note: Once you add your custom fields in the settings section, they will be included automatically in your email editor under ‘insert variables’.
