Intent of the article:
The purpose of this article is to illustrate how to edit a task in Salesgear.
Editing tasks:
You can make modifications to a task’s due date & time and its description based on your requirements. This helps you stay updated and execute the tasks at the right time.
How to edit tasks?
Click on the ‘tasks’ icon in the vertical side menu bar. You will see the list of tasks created on this page.
Click on the ‘more options’ icon (three vertical dots) against the task that you want to edit.
Choose ‘edit’ from the drop-down menu. You will notice a pop-up with the current details of the task.
To change the task date and time, click on the drop-down in the ‘due on’ field available in the top left of the pop-up.
To update the task description, click on the ‘notes’ field, type the required information, and click ‘update task’.
The task will be updated successfully.
Note: You can only make changes to the date, time, and information related to a task. You cannot modify the contact’s email address.
