This article explains how to filter contacts based on various conditions in the contact section.
Filtering contacts based on specific criteria can help you find the definite list of contacts and perform bulk actions for them. For example, you can create tasks for contacts that have a “sales” tag by setting a condition → Tags = “sales”.
The following are contact filters available -
Tags - you can filter contacts by tags
Owners - this allows you to filter contacts based on their owners
Contact fields - you can set filters based on any of the following contact fields -
First Name
Last Name
Job title
Phone number
Mobile number
Other number
Company
Contact notes
Industry
Street
City
State
Country
Zip code
Website
LinkedIn URL
Facebook
Twitter
Custom fields that you have in Salesgear
Date - this allows you to filter contacts based on the following dates -
Contact created date
Updated date
First contacted
Last contacted
Sequence - you can filter contacts based on their status in a sequence -
Active in sequence
Completed in sequence
Added to sequence
Note: With the filters - contact fields, date, and sequence, you can set multiple conditions using the ‘add’ functionality.
How to use contact filters?
Click on the ‘contacts’ icon on the vertical side menu bar.
Click on the “Filter” button on top right above the contacts.
You will see the list of filters mentioned above.
Set the required filters and click on “apply filter”
You will now see the filtered contacts. From here, you can perform any of these actions -
Add these contacts to a sequence
Create tasks
Export them
Add tags
Remove tags
Delete
