Filters help you build a precise list of contacts based on conditions. This is essential for scaling because it lets you run actions safely on the right group.

Common use cases:

  • “All contacts tagged ‘Sales’ and owned by Alex”

  • “Contacts added this week”

  • “Contacts currently active in a sequence”

  • “Contacts in a specific stage/state (via fields/tags/custom fields)”

Filter types available

  • Tags

  • Owners

  • Contact fields (including custom fields)

  • Dates (created, updated, first contacted, last contacted)

  • Sequence status (active, completed, added)

Step-by-step: Apply filters

  1. Go to Contacts

  2. Click Filter

  3. Choose the filter type(s)

  4. Add conditions (use Add for multiple conditions)

  5. Click Apply Filter
