Tags are lightweight labels that make your contact list instantly easier to manage. You can use tags to:
Segment by ICP (e.g., âSaaSâ, âUSâ, âMid-marketâ)
Track source (e.g., âWebinarâ, âSales Navâ, âInbound demoâ)
Track intent/state (e.g., âInterestedâ, âPricing pageâ, âWarm leadâ)
Tags matter because they make bulk actions safe and fast:
Filter a group â add to a sequence â assign owner â export â create tasks

Step-by-step: Add tags to a single contact
Go to Contacts
Click Options (âŽ) on the contact row
Choose Edit
Add tags under Contact Tags
Click Update Contact

Select multiple contacts using checkboxes
Click Options (âŽ) in the top action bar
Click Add Tags
Select existing tags or create new ones
Click Update
Note: Bulk updates for 100+ contacts may take a few minutes to reflect.
