The purpose of this article is to explain cloning a template in Salesgear.

What is meant by ‘cloning a template’?

Cloning a template creates a replica of the original template, enabling you to make a few edits without affecting the original.

How do you clone a template?

  1. Click on the ‘templates’ icon in the vertical side menu bar. This will display the list of created templates.

  2. Click on the ‘more options’ button (three vertical dots) on the extreme right of the template that you want to share.

  3. Click on ‘clone’.

  4. Name your cloned template and choose your preferred state of accessibility.

Note: Your cloned template is named in the format → Copy - *name of the original template * by default. You can edit it anytime.

5. Click ‘save’.

6. You have successfully cloned the template.
