This article explains how to send the created templates as test emails.
Why send test emails?
It’s always a good idea to double-check your email templates before adding them to your templates’ collection. This highly helps in tweaking your personalization tokens and email content if you need to modify them before using them in sequences.
How to send test emails?
Click on the ‘templates’ icon in the vertical side menu bar.
Click on the blue-colored ‘add new’ in the top right corner.
Choose ‘new template’ from the drop-down menu.
Enter a template name and template subject. Type personalized content based on your requirements; you can use ‘insert variables’ in the bottom right of the email body to employ customizations.
You will be able to preview the template on the right side as you type the template.
Click on ‘send test email’, available right before the ‘save template’ button.
The test email template will be sent to the email address that is connected to Salesgear.
Note: All the test emails are sent from the email address that is connected to Salesgear to the same email address. For example, if you have connected abc@gmail.com to Salesgear, your test emails will be sent to abc@gmail.com itself.
