Intent of the article:

The purpose of this article is to explain cloning a sequence in Salesgear.

What is meant by ‘cloning a sequence’?

Cloning a sequence creates a replica of the original sequence, enabling you to make a few edits without affecting the original.

How do you clone a sequence?

  1. Click on the ‘sequences’ icon in the vertical side menu bar. This will display the list of created sequences.

  2. Click on the ‘more options’ button (three vertical dots) on the extreme right of the sequence that you want to share.

  3. Click on ‘clone’.

  4. Name your cloned sequence and choose your preferred state of accessibility.

Note: Your cloned sequence is named in the format → Copy - *name of the original sequence* by default. You can edit it anytime.

5. Click ‘save’.

6. You have successfully cloned the sequence.

Notes:

  • Although you can make changes to a sequence in progress, we recommend you pause the sequence, clone it, and then modify the cloned sequence.

  • This ensures consistency in your workflow without confusing you and your teammates.
