Where should you view and manage your contacts in a sequence?

This article explains how to view and manage contacts specific to a sequence.

6.1 How to view contacts in a sequence?

  1. Click on the ‘sequences’ icon in the vertical side menu bar.

  2. Choose the sequence for which you want to view the contacts.

  3. Go to the ‘contacts’ tab available in the horizontal menu bar above the list of stages.

  4. This will display the contact list of the sequence with the following filters:

Name

Description

Total

This shows the total number of contacts in the sequence

Pending

This shows the number of contacts that are yet to start the sequence

Ongoing

This gives the number of contacts that are active in the sequence

Completed

This is the number of contacts that finished the sequence

Paused

This gives the number of contacts for which you paused the sequence

Opened

This displays the number of contacts that opened your emails

Clicked

This gives the count on the number of contacts that clicked any of the links in the emails

Replied

This shows the number of contacts that replied to you. Once you receive a reply from any contact, the rest of your stages in the sequence will be stopped automatically

Bounced

This is the number of contacts that didn’t receive your emails. To protect sender's domain reputation, Salesgear will automatically prevent you from adding these contacts to other sequences.

Opted out

This displays the number of contacts that opted out/ unsubscribed from the sequence. Salesgear will ensure not to add these opted-out contacts to any other sequences.

6.2 Filtering contacts based on tag names

  1. To filter your contacts based on the tags given to them, click on the ‘Filter by tag name’ icon (funnel-shaped icon) in the contacts tab of your sequence.

  2. Choose a tag name from the list. You can search for the one you are looking for. You can also select all the tags at once using ‘select all’.

  3. Once you choose a tag name, you will view all the contacts with the chosen tag name.

6.3 Exporting a set of contacts

You can easily export contacts within a sequence into a spreadsheet.

  1. Select all the contacts or specific contacts using the checkboxes available right before the names of the contacts.

  2. Click on the ‘export selected’ button available before the filter icon.

  3. You’ll now see a spreadsheet being downloaded to your computer.
