Contact statuses provide a real-time snapshot of your contactโ€™s engagement within a sequence. Understanding these statuses helps you:

โœ… Identify issues early, such as bounced or failed contacts.

โœ… Tailor communication based on contact behavior.

โœ… Focus on high-value leads.

Below is a breakdown of each contact status youโ€™ll see in a sequence:

Status

Description

All

Total number of contacts in the sequence.

Pending

Contacts that have been added but have not yet started the sequence.

Ongoing

Contacts currently active in the sequence.

Completed

Contacts that have finished the sequence.

Paused

Contacts whose sequence has been manually paused.

Opened

Contacts who have opened at least one email.

Clicked

Contacts who have clicked on any link in your emails.

Replied

Contacts who have replied to your email. (Once a contact replies, the sequence automatically stops for them.)

Bounced

Contacts with duplicate or invalid email addresses, preventing delivery.

Opted Out

Contacts who have unsubscribed. (Salesgear ensures they are not added to future sequences.)

Auto Replies

Contacts who sent an automatic response (Salesgear will detect these auto replies and mark them e.g., out of office, left company, email changed).

Meetings Booked

Contacts who have scheduled a meeting with you.

LinkedIn Requests Sent

Contacts to whom you have sent a LinkedIn connection request.

LinkedIn Requests Accepted

Contacts who accepted your LinkedIn request.

Profiles Viewed

Contacts whose LinkedIn profiles you have viewed.
