Activating a variant means it will be sent to contacts in the sequence, while deactivating it removes it from the step—ensuring no contacts receive it and no engagement metrics are tracked.

✅ At least one email variant must remain active in every step if it’s an Automated Email or Manual Email step.

👉How to Activate or Deactivate an Email Variant

  1. Go to the required sequence.

  2. Locate the step containing the email variant.

  3. Use the toggle switch on the left of the variant:

    • Turn it ON to activate the variant (it will be sent to contacts).

    • Turn it OFF to deactivate the variant (it will be excluded).
