Intent of the article:
In this article, you will learn how to invite your teammates to Salesgear for better collaboration.
An overview of inviting teammates:
Adding team members will help you strengthen your sales workflows. You can divide and/ or share sequences & other data amongst your team for better organization and faster outreach. You can also get insights into your team’s performance with Salesgear’s reports. Head to this link to learn more on reports.
There are two crucial roles that you should understand here -
Admin - An admin is a person who has access to invite team members, manage sequences, contacts, and handle settings for the team overall.
User - A user can either maintain sequences & contacts or update them depending on the permissions provided by the admin.
To invite team members:
Navigate to Settings → Users & Teams.
You will find two tabs here -
Users
Teams
Navigate to the ‘Users’ tab.
Click ‘Add user’ on top right.
Enter first and last name, email address, job title, role (either user or admin), and click ‘Add user’.
Salesgear will send an invitation to the mentioned team member’s email address on your behalf.
To edit a team member’s details, click on the three vertical dots against the one that you want to modify, and choose ‘edit’. Make the necessary changes and click on ‘update user’.
You can re-invite your team members in case they didn’t receive your invite in the first place. To do this, click on the three vertical dots against the member that you want to invite again, and click on ‘resend invite’.
You can also cancel the invite if you don’t want the member to join. To do so, click on the vertical three dots against the member that you want to cancel the invite, and click on ‘cancel invite’. This will delete the member from the ‘My team’ list on Salesgear.
Notes:
You must be an admin to include team members.
You cannot invite members who already own a team plan with Salesgear.
There can be multiple administrators in one Salesgear account. Therefore, you can include a member as an administrator.
For the members being invited as users, you can provide them with either read-only or read-write access to the sequences & templates created in the Salesgear account.
You can add up to 5 members in the free plan.
