Sales conversations donât always happen in one place.
You might:
Send some LinkedIn messages from Salesgear
Reply manually inside LinkedIn
Get replies days later
Jump between inboxes trying to recall context
This update solves that problem.
Salesgear now tracks and displays the complete LinkedIn conversation, whether messages were:
Sent from Salesgear
Sent manually on LinkedIn
Replied to by the prospect
And it shows that full history everywhere you work â inside Salesgear and directly on LinkedIn via the Chrome extension.
What exactly is tracked
Salesgear is intentionally strict about when tracking begins to avoid messy or incomplete history.
When message tracking starts
Tracking begins only after the first LinkedIn message is sent via Salesgear
Messages sent before Salesgear was involved are not imported
This ensures:
Clean timelines
No partial or misleading history
No unexpected imports of old conversations
If a conversation existed earlier, Salesgear will simply continue tracking from the point it becomes involved.
What messages are now included
Once tracking starts, Salesgear captures everything that happens next:
Outbound messages
Messages sent from Salesgear
Messages typed manually on LinkedIn
Each outbound message is clearly labeled so you always know where it was sent from.
Inbound messages
All replies received from the prospect on LinkedIn
No guessing. No missing replies.
One unified conversation timeline
All activity is merged into a single chronological thread, including:
LinkedIn messages (manual + Salesgear)
LinkedIn replies
Emails (sent, opened, clicked, replied)
Calls (completed, unanswered)
Tasks (completed, skipped)
Sequence activity
Multi-sequence history
Everything is ordered by actual time, not channel. This gives you full context before every follow-up.
Where youâll see these LinkedIn messages inside Salesgear
1. Contact Timeline
Each LinkedIn interaction appears as a timeline event with:
Sender (you or the prospect)
LinkedIn icon
Timestamp
Message body
Sequence reference (if applicable)
Messages are labeled clearly:
Sent on LinkedIn (Manual)
Sent on Salesgear
LinkedIn Reply
2. Sequences â Contacts â View Reply
When viewing replies inside a sequence:
You now see the entire conversation, not just the last reply
Manual + Salesgear messages are merged
Replies appear in full context
Every message carries a badge showing how it was sent
This makes it much easier to reply intelligently without jumping tabs.
3. Inbox â LinkedIn Replies
The LinkedIn inbox now:
Shows replies with conversation previews
Opens the full LinkedIn thread on click
Includes both manual and Salesgear messages
No more one-line replies without context.
Full Salesgear history inside LinkedIn (Chrome extension)
This is where things really click.
When you open a prospectâs LinkedIn profile, the Salesgear Chrome extension now shows their entire Salesgear history, including:
LinkedIn messages (manual + Salesgear)
LinkedIn replies
Emails and engagement signals
Calls
Tasks
Sequence activity
Multi-sequence interactions
All in strict chronological order, mirroring the Contact Timeline inside Salesgear.
Why this matters

You see full context while writing LinkedIn messages
Replies are more relevant and confident
