How to Connect Your LinkedIn Account to Salesgear Using the Connector Chrome Extension (ZIP Install)

Follow the steps below to install the Connector Chrome Extension for connecting your LinkedIn account with Salesgear.

Step 1: Download and Unzip

  1. Download the Salesgear extension zip file to your computer.

  2. Right-click the file and select “Extract All…” or use your unzip tool to extract it into a folder.

    • Make sure you remember where you saved the extracted folder (e.g., Desktop or Downloads).

Step 2: Enable Developer Mode

  1. Open Google Chrome.

  2. In a new tab, type chrome://extensions and press Enter.

  3. At the top right of the page, toggle on “Developer mode.”

Step 3: Load the Extension

  1. Click the “Load unpacked” button in the top left corner.

  2. In the file browser, select the folder where you unzipped the Salesgear extension.

  3. Click “Select Folder.”

Step 4: Connect Your LinkedIn

  1. Click "Connect with LinkedIn".

  2. Make sure you’re logged into LinkedIn in your browser. Salesgear will detect your account and prompt you to confirm.

  3. Click “Connect” to complete the setup.

All Set!

Need to reinstall?

No worries! Just delete the current folder, download the latest zip, and repeat the steps above.
